When I started this class, I was excited about the though of starting a blog, and thought it would provide a good outlet for some of the creative ideas I had. As the semester went on, I found it harder and harder to produce content for the blog. I can’t even imagine how hard it would be to content producing content for the rest of the year. With a million things going on in life, it was hard to start keep up with weekly posts. My ideal blog would be full of self-produced graphic content. I didn’t do any of my own graphics this semester and it was hard to keep up with the written content’ creating my own work would be 10x more time consuming.

Blogging each week, I really wanted to focus on finding different content that peeked my interest in the advertising and photography industries. I love all things creative, so finding different people who specialized in creative pictures and editing, as well as advertisements that draw your attention because of their unique editing and ideas.

I learned a lot during this semester of blogging – mainly that I don’t think I ever want to have a blog of my own long term. It is a ton of work to create all of the content, and it is hard to find other people interested in exactly the content you are producing. I also learned during this process that you need to plan out your blog posts way ahead of time in order for them to be successful. A good post can not be thrown together the day it is supposed to be posted.
